Paul Tucker - Australia's leading kettlebell lifter
"Great concept. Easy to adjust and very safe to use. Really like the traditional Russian colours too."
Peter Garrett
Hey Comrades! The adjustable kettlebell has arrived! We've made it in the traditional Russian colours and it has got weight ranges from 6.5kg right up to 40kg covered.
Here's a little video of the adjustable kettlebell in action. Check it out
What is the main idea of the adjustable kettlebell?
We thought it was a good idea to bring out an all-in-one kettlebell. Now more than ever it is the best hand held gym in the world.
Who can use the adjustable kettlebell?
Anyone can use the adjustable. It's ideally suited for those on a limited budget or tight for space. We also think it's a great tool to take away on holidays or work.
What are the weight ranges?
Thanks to Paul Tucker for the following info:
"The handle and top half weigh 6.5kg and with the bottom shell attached weighs 12kg. The plates weigh 4,4,4 8.5 & 8.5kg so all up I can get to 41kg."
With the 5 plates and the case you can make 6.5, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36 and 40kg kettlebells and more. So we think we've got all options covered.
The upper half of the bell can be used safely on its own or with plates in it, giving an even greater range of weights that can be created.
Why the colours?
They're the traditional Russian colours and this one is in honour of our Russian friends.
The handle has purposely been left 'raw' which allows for better grip and makes it easier to apply chalk.
What else can you tell me?
We've been experimenting by adding extra plates to the bottom. Early testing has shown that you can add as much weight as you like. Although we don't recommend it, we have been able to get a kettlebell up to 60kg. An extra long bolt from your hardware is required.
