Hey Rick, How you going?

I'm interested in a Starter Pack and also an intermediate Pack.

I will Order this coming thursday, cause i get paid then lol. Gotta love being a poor uni student.

Umm due to being a poor uni student, I wanted to get the biggest bell i could handle. I'm new to kettlebells, and havent been lifting that long.

Full Squat: 110kg
Deadlift: 120kg
Bench: 90kg
Pullup: Bodyweight + 15/20kg.
Military Press: 50kg.

Figures Stated are comfy 1 rep maxes.

Do you think i could handle a 24kg bell or start with the 16?

I was thinking of getting the intermediate pack, the starter pack is for a friend who is going to the army who i wont see for a year. He loves the military + russia + is a skinny bastard haha., So thought i couldn't go wrong.

So just wondering what you recommend. Goals aren't specifcally endurance related, I just wanna get faster, jump higher, stronger.

Feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rick.

Hi Brendan
With those sort of numbers, I'd suggest a 20 kg kb. You will outgrow it for pure strength moves within weeks however you need to prepare the body for the future heavy loads. The loads from somee of the ballistic drills are quite intense if your not use to them. The last thing you want to do is get injured. There are ways to make exercises harder by:

-slowing tempo
-working bottom's up
-compressing rest periods
-pausing at different spots
-changing leverage
-etc.

Cheers mate.

lol, i definately planned on sticking strictly with the 1 pood, 1.5 and 2 pood measurements.

Might go with the 24 for now, and play with some dbs in the heavy dbs to see how i go with the ballistic drills.

Thanks for the advice. You'll have my order thursday lol.
