Thought I'd start an 'E-Journal'

Today was army res training

Did 10km Pack March :shock: along a very hilly jungle track in the pissing rain !! Was fun tho. Finished with nav drills
I put my 24kg Kettlebell in and some towels just for shits and giggles.

your kidding me! 10km walk with a friggin' 1.5 pood in the back pack? thats great work.

i did a farmers walk with 2x32kg around the block to my place. the block is very hilly. normally takes 8 to 10mins to walk it, took 1/2hr with the kbs. neighbours thought i was a madman.

Farmers Walk !!! You are a mad man. Bloody good job tho, i will try some farmers walking this week.
Today feeling a bit stiff from yesturday but did Fight Gone Bad with the following combo

I mean shitter in a good way of course. I almost drop the bell on my head a few times doing the OHS.

About 15 HSPU in one set usually with just going to my head touches the ground.

Did an anerobic threshhold test at uni early this morning

Was a 30sec flat out sprint on a bike got HR to 209. Was fun but a little light headed afterwards. The tester was suprised at how well i did, he test at lot of aerobic people like triathletes and marathon runners ect.

Jamie, i am not sure if it is the right name but basically get two weights and start in a push up position and like a renegade row lift one up but place it out in front of you, do a push up and lift the other one and place it in front of you do a push up and 'skid' you feet up to the start position and repeat for distance or reps, its a real cardio and core killer.

Yeah with helen the other day i was pushing real hard and was totally destroyed afterwards. Thanks

Thanks rick,

I dislocated my collarbone, it healed within a few days but as a result i got a minor tear in the rotator cuff. Its come good now, i just feel i have lost a heap of shoulder flexability because of it.

The bands are great for stretching out shoulders. Phil (my training partner) is having great success with them. It builds strength and range through virtually every conceivable angle.
