As we know, its an established fact that screaming "Lightweight Baby!" or "Yeeeeaaaah Buddy!" Before a major lift will significantly improve your work output [Prof. Coleman, 2005], or as some have experimented with; referring to the loaded bar as a 'peanut'.

Others have had success with strutting around, shouting, and entering a trance-like state of intensity.[Magnusson, 2005]

But i ask, would screaming the as mentioned cries, or perhaps other phrases do the same for GS?

Discuss.

Works for Dr Sven Karlsen, 2001 worlds strongest man and strength legend in his quote "viking Power!" or not as commonly uttered but still effective "Thor is here, Odin is here!"

Will , to spare you the task of reading a whole article here is a quote for you :

"The athlete's ability to voluntarily relax his muscles is of extraordinary importance for assimilation of high technical mastery. This is not an easy task because of the tension associated with weightlifting exercises; muscle tonus is high and relaxation of muscles is difficult" (2). Great weightlifters like David Rigert, Yurik Vardanyan and Yuri Zakharevich appeared to be half asleep as they stood over a barbell before lifting a world record weight. In contrast, it is quite common to see powerlifters, under similar circumstances, screaming, faces flushed, fists clenched in a high state of excitation. This radical difference in approach is undoubtedly one of the reasons (but by no means the only one) that powerlifters find it very difficult to successfully switch from powerlifting to Olympic style weightlifting.

Great quote Paul- might add it to the list.

True enough, about oly weightlifting and GS. For my part and I assume for Will also it was mostly facecious.
As far as Powerlifters and Oly weightlifters looking half asleep, the reasons are complex. Modern Olympic lifting is a highly complex, technique based sport.
The reason powerlifters are rarely able to transition to Olympic weightlifting is because they cannot make up the 15 years of training history and technique. If Olympic lifting or powerlifting was fundamentally better for developing all out strength, we would see a clear outcome in sports like strongman. To date this has not occured, and the field historically has been pretty balanced. Strong is strong.
I love both disciplines and have a very high regard for GS, but comparing a super heavyweight athlete performing a 250kg clean and jerk vs a super heavy squating 450 kgs is comparing oranges and apples.
