Vlad made me do this. Apparently, Emily needed more girls to join up and form the 'Kettlebell sisterhood'. Today was my first GS training session with Vlad and here is what we did:

Warm up

Joint mobility exercises
3x10 swings with 16kg KB each arm

Main workout

KB Jerk - 30 sec 'on', 1 min 'off' with 8kg KB - 10 cycles - 5L/5R

I averaged 7 reps each side.

Haha. It's definitely good to have another girl in the 'kettlebell sisterhood'. Thanks, Vlad, for recruiting!

Best of luck with your training, if you keep up the GS stuff you'll get great results.

Will you be competing on the 26th July? You should give it a go, having a competition goal really helps with motivation and I've found keeping a training log is also really useful.

Either way you've made a great start!

Hi Emily!

Thanks for the welcome to the 'Kettlebell Sisterhood' and the forum.

Vlad & I did two training sessions this weekend which I quite enjoyed. It was much better to train with someone who knows what they are doing and can give feedback on technique, especially as I am just starting out. Vlad had given me a KB training progam a while ago but I must confess that I did lose motivation quickly when I completed exercises on my own.

Looking forward to getting stronger and increasing the number of exercises I can do with KB. I am sure that Vlad will keep me on the straight and narrow with training ...lol!

Good luck with your training in preparation for comp on 26/7.
