The NAKF are hosting a CrossWorld Girevoy Sport competition on 26th July 2008.

This is an open competition with no entry forms or fees. Anyone requiring more details should email tasgirevik@gmail.com. Persons wishing to compete do so at their own risk.

Those who compete should submit their results to the same email address above. This will ensure that your details are tallied by the NAKF into the CrossWorld results.

Competitors should ensure that they are familiar with the Rules of Girevoy Sport Competition, which can be found here http://cmuberti.googlepages.com/rules.

Please do not publish your results in reply to this post. An official results spreadsheet will be posted here in due course.

When submitting your results for the competition, please ensure you give the following information in full -

- Legal Name
- Division (junior, masters or open)
- Sex
- Location (Suburb and State)
- Event (ie. traditional biathlon, snatch only, 1 kettlebell long cycle, etc)
- Weight used
- Time (list each event separately)
- Total repetitions (list each event separately)

Remember, this is an open competition - you don't need to have any competition experience to have a go - just pick up your 'bells and let us know how you do.

"For the snatch, you can rest in the hang as long as there is movement (swinging back and forth)

2. For the hand switch, the bell can be brought down to the rack position briefly before making the switch."
