My goal is to loose 15kgs, get fit and tone up. I turn 40 in 2011 and my present to myself is to walk the Kokoda Track so I owe it to myself to be in peak physical condition.
Starting Stats 7/4/09
Age : 37 (38 in 3 weeks)
Weight : 82 kg :(
Height : 171 cm
Waist : 87 cm
Hip : 119 cm
Left Arm : 33 cm
Only have a 16kg KB a bar and a few weights at the moment but I will train hard and eat well. First goal is to reduce all above measurements by next weight in on the 7th May (aim for weight to be 76kgs). Exercise starts in the morning.

Hi dunnea,
best of luck with it! The kettlebells are definitely a good way to go to get you in shape for Kokoda.

rgt swing
1 min break
lft snatch
rgt snatch
20xlft squat
20xrgt squat
break
12kg

1min x 8kg dble swing to cool down
Not a bad effort for first go
Hey dunnea
i helped prepare a guy for kokoda and we did a lot of holding and walking in the rack and farmers walks along with the swings and cleans and of course hill climbs and runs
when he returned he said that he felt the kettlebell training had given him a real advantage both mentally and physically
