For the last 3 weeks i have been training with Power Bands, following an e-Book program i purchased directly from The Band Man himself, Dave Schmitz. I recommend getting this eBook before buying the DVD, just to get the taste of it.

Any thougth this would be easy, quickly diminished after the first workout. The interval training is well set out and involves all parts of the body working together. I have the yellow, orange and red bands and i use them all.

The great thing is that once it seems easy to workout with a certain thickness, you can double up the band or use 2 different thickness bands together. I've drilled a couple of hooks into my garage wall, 1 at shoulder level, 1 at hip level and attach the bands with simple clip-on carabeeners.

The workouts are well laid out and last 30min total and are based on tabitha protocol.

What's totally cool about bands is that they can be carried around easily. I have taken them down to the park and done workouts with them on the weekends. I also use them in the gym for variable resistance work. They are just so versatile!

The other thing I like them for is rotator cuff work. I play cricket and throwing requires a well balanced and healthy shoulder. Some exercises I use the bands for are band pull aparts, band dislocates, internal and external rotations and I have also used them to help stretch ut my lats before training.
