I would have to use 22kg.:D:D:D
Now I just need a sponsor.

Actually, lifting kettlebells for people under 40 is so easy that I feel it is best described as a form of doping(nah, just kidding:p).

The competition seems very nice.
Some interesting rules, like with the rest in hang permitted, and "only" five min snatches (I think the translated snatch as jerk), a fine of 10points if the weight is dropped.

I would like to go to this one, it is a pity that it is so close in time to the planned Finnish lccj-comp.

By the way, I do not really get if the organizer of this comp - International
Confederation of Weights Lifting Masters - is affiliated with some of the big organizations IUKL or IGSF.

Edt---
It is not affiliated with IUKL, anyway:

"On October, 12th members and representatives of IUKL which contacts are published on our official site, have received the invitation on competitions to Arkhangelsk.

To spend these competitions non-legal organisation which has no official status in the international sports structures. This group „International confederation of weight sport masters (the International confederation of weight sport seniors)” does not exist in the register of the organisations - neither in Russia, not in the world. It has been liquidated by the countries-organizers because her head has started to conduct the authoritative policy and has ceased to co-operate with IUKL. The message about this you can see on site of IUKL in "NEWS" section. It appropriates ranks of masters of sports, deserved masters of sports and those similar all who will take part in her competitions - without dependence from result. They do not correspond to specifications which the sportsman for reception of these ranks should execute. Competitions in Arkhangelsk also are non-legal. They are not present in the official shedule of sports competitions for territories of Russia. Therefore medals and the titles, which sportsmen can receive at these competitions, will not be real and official. You also can declare that have held the World championship in a bar near your house and became the world champion, and then still to appropriate a rank of the deserved master of sports! It will be identical to competitions in Arkhangelsk, but only you should not go anywhere! J Both your titles and your ranks will not be recognised by any official organisation!

1-2 months ago all representatives of IUKL have received parcels with books and DVD in which Anatoly Yezhov’s personal achievements which are called as records are described. These "records" have not been established at official competitions, at official refereeing and control. They are called as "nonconventional" and are not achievements in sport. It is a variant of personal public relations and unreasonable idealisation of the person. These materials are duplicated in the private edition and also are not official! I hope that they cannot mislead anybody!

Your participation in such informal competitions will damage to your image and will create problems for your cooperation with official sport structures!

The person who carried out dispatch of the message with the invitation on competitions to Arkhangelsk, has put in the statement for an exit from IUKL and, actually, any more is not our member. We are assured that ethics of our operating members are at high level!

We hope, that our cooperation are proceeded and that you can refrain from precipitate decisions and actions!

All the best,
Secretary general of IUKL
Vasily Ginko"
