Pro Grade Kettlebells Testimonials

The following tesimonials come from our customers that are thrilled with the performance of Pro Grade Kettlebells

Steve Cotter:

World renown kettlebell and physical training coach www.fullkontact.com www.ikff.com
Kettlebells have been available in US and Australia for about 7 years now, however, only recently has more complete information about the history and heritage of kettlebell lifting been available to us in the West.

After having traveled to Russia and Latvia and experiencing kettlebell lifting as its highest levels as demonstrated by the world's top professional KB lifters, I became aware of differences in the designs of various KBs. Now I exclusively use professional kettlebells, just as the top lifters of Russia and Eastern Europe.

Professional kettlebells are the tools of choice for all serious KB lifters and all who want to maximize their performance with this remarkable strength and conditioning tool. The reason is because professional KBs are of a consistent size. This is of great importance to you if you desire to bring your skill level to its highest potential, because part of achieving high performance has to do with motor learning--imprinting the correct technical positioning into your muscle memory.

Think of any sport, like soccer, baseball or rugby. The balls are all of a standardized size. The size of the ball doesn't get bigger or smaller as a player progresses up the ranks. The same should be the case with kettlebells. You see, while KB lifting is relatively new in the West, they have been doing it for a very long time in Eastern Europe and they figured out long ago what the best dimensions are for optimal performance.

Australian Kettlebells is committed to providing the highest quality and their professional-grade KBs utilize the same international standards used by the world's top KB lifters. Train like the pros and demand the best for yourself with professional kettlebells. You will feel the difference in quality and precision immediately!

As they say , buy the best tools you can afford and learn to use them properly .

There is no doubt in my mind that my lifting performance and comfort is improved by using these bells. They are replicas of the actual kettlebells used in Russian competitions and have evolved to this design over recent decades. Optimal ergonomics allow the centre of gravity to remain close to the body when required , a safety factor as well as allowing (legal) rest in the competition lifting. The handle thickness and length feel "optimal" to me , given my average sized hands.

It makes a lot of sense to offer a single bell size (outside dimensions) with variable weight. That way one only has to master one type of grip. Furthermore this standardized bell range allows fair comparisons between athletes , in both competitive and non-competitive situations . With the heavier bells , I feel these are definitely safer than several previous designs I have used. Overall I am more than happy moving to this design.

Over time I will replace my existing bells to allow a uniform teaching style as well as for personal "comfort". Thanks for bringing these bells into Australia, Rick! They are well finished and for the serious high repetition trainer/trainee, the handle can be optimally tweaked as per my article in the training archives.

Just got my prograde 24s. Excellent, excellent product. I find that grip limits me most of all with ballistics - particularly one arm snatch. The smaller handles of the progrades certainly are easier on the hands.

Andrew Cattermole

Agreed Got my 24s, nice feel, JD your right, the feel is lighter and easier to work with on both Snatch and C&J. Very Impressed. More orders to come Rick

Adrian Bellin

Been working out with my new 20kg pro grade bells.i love'em.they feel great. They are so comfortable. My concern was i would want 16,24 & 32's as i have them in the series I style bells.Using both,I prefer the pro grade but it's good to train with both,it mixes it up a little.

Jamie Douse

I'm amazed at how nice these are to swing, snatch, C&J whatever for reps. For anyone into high rep work I think these are definitely the go, just feels so much easier...efficient i think is the word

Daniel

Yeah just awesome. Got a chance today to give them a good go. The shape and size of the handle is great, very comfortable. The uniform size of the bell between the different weights is for me most important reason to go pro, they just sit really nicely on your arm, like they are meant to be there. On a side note chalk you suggested makes a huge difference with grip and I really recommend people try it if you are not currently using it. Overall very very happy, thanks Rick

Vlad Rakic

'll second that ! I also had a look at el-cheapo KB's. They may look similar, but pick it up, swing it and feel the finish and it is a cheap product. I want stuff that lasts and only get that from Australian Kettlebells!

The Pro Grade bells are superb! With the extra volume in them I can do a modified version of a clean with my wonky elbow which has obviously added a new dimension to training.

Just wanted to publicly acknowledge how great the Pro Grades are. I decided to take the plunge and add a 24kg Pro Grade to the large family of standard kettlebells I have.

Let's just say, I'm impressed. Great product. Well balanced. Great handle size and really happy with the overall size.
I'm now thinking of upgrading to all Pro Grades.
I used to tell my athletes, "you'll be right with the standard KB's". But now, I'll be recommending the pro grades!
Cheers mate,
