Great for kids We purchased a pack for our gymnastics club Blackert Gymnastics Academy and have found the very useful, fun and safe to use with kids. Assisted Pull Up/Chin Up Pack I never imagined using Power Bands would be so much fun. They make home workouts more intense and are brilliant for use in the gym as well! The differing tensions are awesome for different exercises too! They are great for Pull-ups, Rows and for Stretching too! Great product guys!

Excellent I'm currently using the yellow band for rotator cuff exercises while resting an angry AC joint. It's just right for this work and I'll use it to aid stretching.
I'm looking forward to using the orange and red bands for squats and other work to mix up my lifting program.
Five stars except for the unrelenting rubbery smell of the bands. It infiltrates clothes and I have to wash my hands at least twice to reduce the smell from them afterwards. I'm the only one commenting on this so maybe it's not an issue for others.

pullups/chins assist package great pack if you are able to do a few pullups/chins but want to be able to do more reps for added volume. I would say if you can do about 4-5 then the red band should get you about 8 or so. If you cant do 4 chins yet then get the stronger bands package. You wont regret it. Bands are the most useful exercise tool after a rack and a barbell

Power Bands The Power Bands have taken my workouts and muscle development to a new level. I can pump out heaps more reps and therefore get a much better - and more enjoyable! - workout.
I am also someone who prefers to train outdoors at the local park instead of a gym, and this product is great for this too.

Awesome! As a PT i know how beneficial the pull up is to ones body. With these bands i can quite easily have a beginner client doing pull ups/chin ups. Also fantastic for using outdoors at the park.

Great! Powerbands add a new dimension to the tools in my kit. They are so simple but yet so effective. When you start adding them to bench presses, deadlifts and chin ups it destroys you with the stablisation reqired and the eccentric loading they add.
They can be used from the beginner to the elite athlete.

As a personal trainer I have clients at varying strength levels- some are way off doing a chin, but some are close. Having the various resistances allows them to progress as they get stronger.
Using bands still adds that balance component which makes them much better than using machines like the gravatron.

I wish I bought these bands years ago, as they add a multitude of options and variations to my training, and that of my PT clients. They are also great for travel as you can take them anywhere and have a workout. Highly recommend the powerband door jams to anchor the bands and the band handles to make them easier to hold on to.

We find the bands to be an essential piece of equipment in the Monkey Gym. We use these to reduce body weight for beginners in exercise like chinups and pullups; to help the more advanced student learn muscle-ups; to allow partial bodyweight Iron Crosses to be practised on the Roman Rings; for changing the force curves of squats and deadlifts; and rotator cuff strengthening movements. One of our guys likes them for triceps pushdowns, too.
Excellent quality (but expect the yellow ones to wear out in time), and are absolutely invaluable training aids in our gym. Two thumbs up.

The Power Band I bought was a fairly lightweight one - Red. It assists me perfectly when doing chinups. When I get strong enough to do 3, 4 or 5 chinups on my own, I won't need the powerband anymore. In the meantime, it assists me gr8ly to practice and increase my strength.I highly recommend powerbands.

All my life I've struggled with chin ups. Tried negatives, Nautilus Gravitron, Lat pulldown. I can do two good quality overhand wide grip then I've had it. I was frustrated. After I was given some good advice I headed down to Iron Edge in their new Glen Iris premises. (Nice set up.) Josh walked me through some of the various powerbands that you can use to assist in chin up training. I settled on a medium 41". With my foot on the band, I can do 10 chins from full hang to above the bar. As I improve, I can drop my knee in the loop and continue. I've had some tendinitis in my shoulder and the band has helped with that as well. Such a good value for money piece of training equipment. I simply can't do without it.

A: Yes, the 41" bands can be used for resistance push ups and many more exercises.
• Can I get specific bands, instead of the pack? ie ideally I would like orange, red & blue.

• ARe these bands long enough to put my foot through it after I secure it onto the pull up rack? I'm not very tall, so I need to be able to put the through it comfortably without the need for someone to help stretch out the band before placing my foot in it.

A: As a guide once the band is looped around the bar it hangs down 90cm below the bar. If that's not low enough you can always use a utility strap which will lower it to 135cm below the bar. Bear in mind though the less the band stretches the less assistance it will provide.
