This DVD really is described simply by its title. You know what you are getting. Now how good is this DVD? There are 56 upper body exercises and 42 of them are versions and variations of the Push Up. The only equipment used are a couple of collapsible chairs on occasion, hence there are no chin-ups or variations.
You get 62 lower body conditioning exercises and 42 core exercises progressions. Now this is not a DVD of in-depth explanation. It really reminds me of the Encyclopedia Britannica. You get every topic addressed clearly, simply and progressively from your total beginner level up to advanced challenges. You will be reminded of a series of recipe cards for cooking. Unmistakable instructions and demonstrations.
Every person who wants to join a gym should be made to purchase this DVD and learn how your body moves prior to beginning any weight training. This DVD should be on the shelf of every Personal Trainer and Physiotherapist. You cannot teach weight or resistance exercise if you do not know how to control your own bodyweight or teach others how to control their own, and Steve Cotter’s demonstrations and explanations are unambiguous.
The skills learned from this DVD are the absolute “bricks and mortar” of training. A person who masters the basics of human movement in this DVD should never experience injury in a gym or resistance training program. It should be handed out to any kid who wants to get into shape, any parent who has a child who wants to join a gym should buy this DVD it is ideal for 12-18 year olds.
When your child can perform everything on this DVD strongly and safely you can be sure they are ready for the gym. You will have done your job. My thirteen year old daughter uses this DVD for her conditioning program in Brazilian Ju Jitsu, while I use it to improve my overall mobility and joint range of motion. This really is a DVD that anyone can benefit from.

There is a huge void in information on pure body weight training. Thankfully Steve Cotter has made this set giving people all the information they need for complte body weight workouts. He is a great teacher and makes all the exercises very clear, a must have for people low on space or equipment
