About the trainer:
If you're ready to step up and take your training
and knowledge to new heights we're here to help you. Our Perth Workshop is run
under the tutelage of Jamie Douse. Jamie is the principle of Western
Kettlebells and is Western Australia’s
most experienced kettlebell instructor.
Jamie has been involved in the fitness industry 20 + years, specialising in
kettlebell training & instruction for the last 4. He has received
instruction from Steve Cotter, Rick Ravensdale, Ben Minos, Phil Kourbatski, Don
Stevenson and the great Vasily Ginko, under whom he recently achieved Level 2
National GS Instructor accreditation.
He is an active participant in the tough sport of
kettlebell lifting, Girevoy Sport, and is the president of the Western
Australian Kettlebell Sport Club.
His services have been utilised by everyone from average joes to elite level
athletes, including professional cage fighter Shaun Spooner. Currently his
expertise in the field of strength & conditioning is employed by South West
Vale Tudo & Eclipse Martial Arts.
He trains the trainers in his role as a lecturer in the Department of Fitness,
Sport & Recreation at TAFE and industry qualifications include
