Our Power Bags are built to last. Fill the inner bags with sand, close the end and you’re ready to go. You can load it with 10kg (if you’re a sissy) or fill it to the brim with 100+ kg of dead weight sand- we recommend using a courser grade of sand.

Feel the burn bitches Love this new tool in my kit. Use it for heavy lifting density training and you will definately feel it in the grip department.

Good Stuff Got the sand bags, bought one for myself, one for the missus, looked at them when they arrived and went pfft what's this.
Ok bought 100kg of sand from bunnings , river sand, costs us about 40 bucks. Put 80kg in mine 40kg in hers and could barely move the bloody thing haha so i pulled 20 out of each bag , mine ended up wieghing in around 67 and hers 27.
Now 67kg , or 60kg on a bar is what i use when doing reps of 15ish... squats stiff leg dls bench and rows etc.
67kg in a sand bag is FREAKIN HARDCORE.
This is by far a phenomenal strength workout.
we do a full body routine , have done 3 training sessions thus far.
goes like this , super set DLs and bench (on the ground or off a step depending whether we go to park or train indoors), BO ROWS/SQUATS , and then to finish up we go for a clean and press. was aiming at 5x5 sets, depending how you hold the bag doing 5 squats is hard. my HR was upto 170 180 after most sets (with the exclusion of bench) and 3 sets was more than enough.
as far as doing bench with a sand bag, it's like peck deck flyes and presse's all at once. can pump out 8-10 reps but your chest REALLY works for those reps.
Squats are the same , if you rest the bag on your shoulder you get more work on either leg, if you hold it in the zercher position or bear hug grip it works your core alot more.
The whole workout is a core-o-thon and we're doing every 3rd day training now instead of every 2nd.
I highly recommend these to anyone who wants good results and wants them fast.
ALSO ... you NEED to buy some good gloves. these things absolutely destroy your fingers,especially the tips. check out a local disposal store for some light wieght multi purpose...
Oh and 1 more thing. The Clean is a beast of a movement that will take it out of you and if you throw in a press with it it's an absolute monster of a full body movement.
After yesterdays training i was spent.

Sandbag At first look the sandbag seems nothings special but give me a 15 minutes workout and you will see what the big deal about it is.

As always another quality product from Australian Kettlebells! Quick delivery and easy to throw together what isnt easy is using the Sandbag. It looks simple enough but will smash anyone up regardless of athletic ability! Well worth a look
• can you do the same exercise with the power bag as with kettlebells
like swings, snatches c&j , if so could you please post a video of them being done
A: You can do these exercises with a sand bag, though they will feel quite different to using a bell. A great aspect of sand bag training is that every rep is different and that you can incrementally load the bag.
