Every now and then I get my hands on a product that really gets my attention. While all of our products undergo strict scrutiny and testing, some products really stand out.

The Wooden Power Rings are one such product. When I first held them I knew they were something special. And here's why...

These wooden rings are another level to our traditional plastic rings. The wood holds onto the chalk much better which allows you to perform with much more confidence. Especially in key exercises like muscle ups where maintaining the ‘false grip’ is essential. So you're bound to knock out a couple more reps.

The wider nylon straps also allow for better support in the 'support hold' above the rings. It's for this reason wooden rings are used in the Olympic Games. They are definitely worth the extra investment.

These wooden rings feel great in your hand and come with my highest recommendation. If you're serious about getting the most from ring training then this product has your name on it.

Lord of the rings
These rings are the one rings - awesome. Combined with a power band weaklings like me can do many great things with them. The flexibility is a key feature here. I hang them off a sloping beam in my shed, so the straps are different lengths but adjusting them to be even or for different exercised couldn't be easier. Bonus: my kids absolutely love them and have probably used them more than me so far.

Best thing since sliced bread!!
By far the best piece of equipment I have purchased for strength training!!
The Wooden rings are not only built well but feel terrific in your hands. Very natural.
The black marked straps not only makes is child's play to align the rings but en still confidence with the extra wide clamps and strap.
Just grab it!!!

Excellent option to upgrade
If you have used the plastic rings the new wooden ring will blow you away. Far superior grip and feel, not to mention much better looking. The new straps are more hardy and look great. They have also upgraded the buckle, now it looks to be indestructible. Much better for beginners to start on and a great option for the more advanced to upgrade and help take your ring training further. I have just purchased 5 sets for my facility. We also have 6 sets of the plastic rings so we definitely know the difference.

The best rings out there
We have them all in the Monkey Gym: Xtreme (Coach Sommer's, Ring Training's version, and one other I can't recall the name of, but Rick's new wood rings are far and away the best, for feel and grip. The marked straps are a bonus.

Only suggestion is to cut the tape free end at a taper (makes it easier to feed into buckle).

Otherwise, two thumbs up!
