I purchased these rings after trying them with my own trainer. I now use them with my own clients. They add an extra element to their training. I love them and so do my clients who use them- once they recover from the pain. Fantastic training tool for any trainer:-)

Awesome tool! I ordered these with a few other bits and it all arrived very quickly so no waiting for ages for the new toys!
The rings themselves are great and fairly simple to set up.

Power Rings make basic exercises like dips, push-ups and pull ups THAT much harder. If you can master those, and then move onto some of the gymnastic exercises like the Front Lever, Muscle-Ups and Iron Cross, well the DOMS you will feel is beyond belief.
Excellent tool for fitness, conditioning and gaining strength.

Ok, so people seem to be using them to improve stabilisation when doing routing style exercises. This is a great idea and will no doubt improve your chances of becoming a beast!
I bought these rings , easily the best i was able to scour the net for after many months, and have attempted to rekindle some gymnastics from my childhood. rings, ties and clamps are of highest quality and never slip.
Hang them off your split stairs, mounts or a stable branch outside. practise your levers and inverts and all the surrounding support.

Great product, adds difficulty and intensity to the staple bodyweight manouvers. Anyone profficient in Pullups, Pushups and Dips will suddenly feel a little useless all over again, no better motivation for improvement than finding out you aren't THAT good at pull ups.

Sturdy and strong the Power Rings are a great addition to add variety to programming.
I use both TRX and Power Rings with clients and have found that when it comes to exercises like pull ups, muscle ups and the like I place my trust firmly with the Power rings.

So easy to put up and take down and you can use them nearly anywhere.
I have never found anything as great to use for shoulder stability within a workout. Also great for learning to control your bodyweight.

The rings are a good addition to the equipment in our gym. Add a bit of variety to the workout. Highly recommend you get them with etiher a DVD or book for instructional purposes.

The rings have added another dimension to my training. The suspended pushups and bodyweight rows are so challenging with the rings. Makes my core cry for more.
A: The rings come with 2 adjustable straps with buckles. To set them up you need to hang the strap over a stable bar, thread the strap through the ring, then thread the end of the strap through the buckle. There is an arrow that says feed web that shows you the direction to thread the strap through.
• can you attach the rings to a wooden support beam under a house? or will the straps eventually wear?
A: Difficult to give you a 100% correct answer without seeing the beam. A little common sense goes a long way. The straps are made from nylon and hence are extremely durable - I've never heard of one wearing through before. However, if the wooden beam has an abrasive surface with a sharp edge it will no doubt wear through the straps eventually. It sounds as though it would be best to put something over the beam before hanging the rings to give a smooth surface.
• what are the specs of the rings , thickness, length of the straps, tested weight capacity etc
A: The diameter of the ring itself is 350mm with ring thickness measuring 28mm. The strap length is 6m which allows a up to a 3m hang height. There is no weight rating on them but they do come with a lifetime guarantee. As an example of their strength we have 115kg guys doing muscle ups on them with no worries.
• Can I use these rings with your assault rack?
A: Absolutely!
• What about attaching these to a sled for pulling/pushing? Will they be able to handle the additional stress?
A: Depends entirely on how much you'll be pushing/pulling and what surface you've got to work with. The rings themselves are incredibly tough, for example we've guys well over 100kgs doing explosive body weight movements on them and we have yet to see even one fail!
