This DVD will be someone’s “Holy Grail”. That someone will be a Personal Trainer with an eye for marketing and great program design skills. The Personal Trainers who master this band training system will have an unassailable edge over their peers. If approached correctly I could see Physiotherapists getting rid of those fit balls and replacing them with these bands for real “core” training in individual or group setting.

Band training is a very viable and attractive alternative to kettlebell or clubbell training for ultimate core strength. Band training has huge applications for any sport you can consider and this DVD gives you everything you will need to figure out the approaches for a desired sport. As demonstrated in this DVD, bands can be used to simulate the force patterns of any functional movement you can think of.

Proprioceptive training due to the elastic movement and kinetic energy changes teach you greater skill in movements. The versatility of the bands must be seen to be appreciated, and this DVD supplies a wonderful array of exercise, individual and group applications. The narrator often sounds as if he is doing an infomercial, which is unfortunate because what he actually is saying or describing is really excellent and there are no questions left an answered by the time you watch both DVD’s.

A trainer could create a total “boot camp” with these bands using teams. A strength athlete can use the bands in any lift, as is so well documented by many web pages. Kettlebell enthusiasts only need to see the Diesel Crew manual on applying bands to kettle bells to see their advantage. Bodyweight, barbells, dumbbells – the list goes on, can all be more excitingly and challengingly applied when bands are integrated.

So if you have ever thought about what bands might offer you or your business, this DVD is your answer, it’s exciting to watch and just makes you want to get out there and use them. No stone is left unturned or angle unaddressed. This is an excellent addition to the Health Professional Library.
