The microbands are a great product which are suitable for many different applications, I like to use them mainly for various glute activation exercises in our movement prep for both training and games.
Exercises such as clams, crab walks, single leg hip extensions. Also we have used them for scapular stability movements and other injury prevention exercises relevant to our sport including various hip adduction movements. They can also double as a great training tool for loading exercises such as squats to emphasise knee stability.
Microbands have been a valuable addition to our conditioning program and have allowed us to both prepare our athletes better while also correct technique and movement deficiencies.
