Great Shoe They shoes are very solid. I wear size 13 - 14 runners and I opted for the size 46 Do Win's.
Very good fit.
I would give the shoes 5 stars but as stated by Chris below, the strap is a bit 'out there'. I wish it was just a gun-metal/plain black strap.
Although you do get over it.

Do yourself a favour - get a pair I wear size 12-13 runners depending on the brand and have a pretty wide foot.
Size 45 do-wins fit great, even a 44 would likely be good. The shoes feel much broader and more accommodating than the adidas adistar which I tried a few weeks ago.
These things have helped my squat form immensely. Having only squated to 90 degrees for many years, the do-wins have proved a good solution to improving the range of motion in my squat and building up my VMOs.
Only drawback is the derogatory comments I've recieved about the lame sparkly strap. However the shoes will help you squat big... surely enough to silence the doubters.

Shoes are Awesome! I was very hesitant buying these shoes but since i have got them i havent looked back. I have a very wide foot and they fit really well!
They are a great addition to my lower body workuts, they add great atability when doing my squatting exercises and olympic weightlifting!
I would recommend to anyone serious about the gym to buy them!

Do-win it right In physics it’s stable equilibrium; objects with a large base are more stable than objects with a small base. When you look at running shoes you see a broad base, but in reality it’s a soft base and unstable…especially doing squats! My runners were definitely limiting my performance so I took Rick’s advice a tried the Do-wins. Words mean nothing you’ve got to try these boys. The Do-wins have raised my stability and I’m squatting with way more confidence. Thanks Rick.

Snug as a Glove I wear size 26cm/8US/41.5 Euro Onitsuka Tigers and stupidly purcahsed 42 size Do-Wins but they were massively too big... would've helped if i read to get smaller ones but ended up with size 40 Do-Wins and they fit perfectly...

Great pair of shoes Great pair of shoes. They fit well, and feel very secure and solid. They have definitely made it easier for me to keep perfect form while squatting deep. The sparkly straps are a little bit lame though, but other than that a great shoe all round.

Very Functional This shoe has seriously helped the stability of my squat - if you have ever missed a rep and fallen in a weird way, this shoe is the fix to that problem!
That being said, there are some things the Internet buyer should be aware of:
- That velcro strap over it has sparkles on it - don't think that they'll make you look cool, because they won't.
- I'm a size US 14 and ordered a 49, but a size 48 would've been better for me
- Don't think you'll be doing anything other than weights in these shoes - if you go for a run after, you'll need to pack running shoes too

Worth the money I ordered these late Sunday afternoon and they arrived around Tuesday midday. Delivery is *QUICK* and traceable for peace of mind.
I'm usually a us9 or 10 depending on the manufacturer, but I opted for a size 42 (corresponds with 9) on the Do-Wins, on the advice of the very helpful Ironedge worker over the phone. I have a wide foot, and not only do they accommodate for my width but they have a touch of space left at the front. After lacing and strapping it they are very tight, but not uncomfortable. Perfect fit.
The shoe itself is brilliant. Stitching is good and consistent and the whole shoe is of very solid construction. Some of the panels look more glittered than the photos, kinda tacky, but I got over it in about a second.
Cons: Nothing, really. Awesome shoe. Though I would have liked if Ironedge stocked more colours.
Thanks for the great product

Solid Wearing them added 10kg to my squat and 15kg to my deadlift in the first session, might have added more if I didn't have a screwed lower back.
Good construction, good value. Makes your lift more solid.

Great Value I haven't had the opportunity to use them yet, but I'm impressed with the quality. Wasnt' sure about sizing so took a gamble with a size 40 ( Im a size 8 asics), they fit perfectly. Can't wait to get to use them.
Wish I had purchased them earlier, would of made a difference on my CFT.

Buy some now I have been considering buying weightlifting shoes for a long time but continued lifting bare foot.
Listen to what big squatters say and get some.
I noticed an tangible improvement in my squat (front and back) and snatch/clean form leading to much greater confidence.
As others have said, excellent construction and look like they will be with me for years if not decades.
BTW, arrived in Brisbane day after a 3pm order!

Good buy Surpisingly good quality, solid and excellent fit (took one size down from my UK formal shoe size).
Helped improve my squat form and along with my TK knee bands, sorted my knee issues out. Good investment.

Very worthy option Far better fit than adistars. I have a slightly broad foot (D width is just perfect for me) and find these allow much more room in the front compared to the clostrophobic Adistars.
As for sizing, I wear 45s in Brooks as well as most other shoes and have found that the Do-Wins are perfect in 43 for me.
Performance wise, yes, they keep the heel up, are solid as hell and the tarsal strap does that job, unlike other shoes I've used.
I think these are a very good option at a good price in a marketplace pretty void of competition in terms of weightlifting equipment. Rock on, Ironedge.

Great shoes Very impressed. Great price and very solid construction. The extra heel lift keeps me more upright in the 'hole'. I have even put on 10kg on both my O lifts!

Weightlifting shoes. I just don't get it. In every other sport, a competitor would not be caught dead without the correct footwear. Football, soccer, basketball, jogging, dancing. Even at the lowest levels of these sports, everyone wears the correct footwear.
All these sports are played standing up. Footwear is the first priority, it's just common sense. So why doesn't everyone wear correct footwear in the gym? Surely it's not price, because all of the above mentioned sports require more money for footwear. It can't be the standard your competing or lifting at. Go to a D Grade U10 basketball match, all the kids wear basketball shoes.
All my lifters wear correct lifting shoes, if you're not, you're not serious, so I won't take you serious.
Where do the Nike Romaleos fit in? Well, it's simply the best shoe on the market, and the first new design in decades. We have lifters with most every brand covered at PTC. Pierre had been waiting for the Nikes, he didn't own a pair of lifting shoes. He got them the day they came in. Three squat sessions later, he squatted 180kg@80kg, a 10kg PB.
Was it the shoes? We'll never know, they certainly didn't hurt. As far as pricing goes, they cost the same amount as a pair of new cross trainers, which may last 6 months. These will last forever, unless your 7, then you might grow out of them.
Newest and best shoe on the market, nothing else I can add.

Olympic Weightlifting Shoes by Do-Win articles on our blog...
A: The total heel height is 35mm. More importantly though the elevation is ~20mm or 3/4"
• Hi there. I've got quite a kind of wide foot and most of my trainers are between size 9 and 10. In your opinion what size should I order? Thanks
A: The majority of people find that the lower of the two sizes they are between fits best as they are quite a roomy fit.
• Is there a mondopoint sizing comparison. I wear everything from a Size 8 US/ 41.5 Euro Asics Kayano, to a Size 43 Euro Cycling shoe. What size would you suggest?
A: As a guide I would take into account your Aasics size more so than the cycling shoe. The Do Wins are a rather large fit that see most people opting for one size down.
If you wear an 8US (Will that works here has the same sized foot) we would suggest a Do Win 40.
• Why are you lying about heel height being 3/4"? These are 1.5" twice as much as you claim.
A: Not a lie mate, a misunderstanding in the copy. The 'wooden section' of the heel is indeed 3/4". So whilst the he total heel height is 35mm the actual elevation remains 3/4".
